Walmart will not refund unused service card

I bought a 365 day card last night at Walmart. When I got home I found my wife had already purchased one. Walmart says the card is not refundable even though the "scratch off" over the PIN has not been touched. From searching the web it appears the cards are refundable if unused. How can I get a refund?

Hello I am having a similar problem I have a iphone 5 and bought a 30 refill and trued to activate the card. However I was told I needed a 45 refill card. I have scratched off the silver coating. Will Walmart except my return even though the silver is scratched off, but it is un-used?

My husband just purchased a straight talk phone and a service card. Less than an hour ago. However, he mistakenly purchased a home phone service card. Upon reading the forum I now know Wal-Mart will not refund the card. So how can I switch this card to a $45.00 Unlimited card and just pay the other $15.00?
