Can the samsung galaxy proclaim be used as a hotpot. Are you allowed to tether on the straighttalk phones. I downloaded an app for hotspots and received a message that the app would not work on my phone. Can you tell me why it will not work.

Hi millyh. My name is Straight Talk Debbie and I will be addressing your question. Though we offer unlimited browsing but not to the extent that you can use the phone as a modem for your Laptops or Personal Computers. This kind of usage will contribute a great impact on the carrier’s network and service level and may result into system issues. Phone data service will be automatically suspended if customers will be caught tethering their phones with any of the devices mentioned for the use of wireless synchronization. Hope this clarifies your concern. Thanks.
