Nokia E5 Sim Card "Not Valid"

Good evening,

I wish I had read the previous emails before I activated my phone. The Sim card in my phone DOES NOT match the sim card listed on my activation card therefore, my phone does not recognize it. I need help to get this matter resolved QUICKLY; I have used this number as a work number and need to get in touch with my clients. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Don't expect it to be a quick fix. You'll be lucky if you get a fix at all. I got a new SIM card in the mail several days after I contacted support about the wrong SIM card being in my Nokia E5. The new SIM card does not work either after I re-activated through the phone support line. I am PM'ing with someone here to try to get it resolved, but after trying the first thing they asked me to do and it did not work I have little hope it will ever be resolved. I hate that I've wasted so much money on the phone and time card. I haven't been able to use either and I purchased it weeks ago. If it's not working by tomorrow I will consider it a loss and just buy a phone from another provider.

Took my Nokia E5 out of box, plugged in, turned on, and get Invalid Sim error.

When I unboxed the phone, the sim had already been removed from the card, and WAS IN THE PHONE BACKWARDS. I guess not only did they send the wrong sim, they didn't know how to install it either.

I have been a tracphone/Net10 user for 7 years now. This is SO far from what I expect. All these reports of phones unusable out of the box? Totally unsat.

Have 5 posts, and will check my inbox when I arrive at home.

I am having the same trouble. I got a nokia e5 and tried to activate with the card provided and received the sim card not valid error. When I checked the sim card number on the actual sim card, it did not match the number provided on the activation card. How do I get this fixed?? I contacted customer support and they are sending me a new sim card which takes 3-5 business days. Can this be resolved before that? This is my only phone and I can't be without it for 3-5 business days. Please help.

I had the same problem. The sim number on my activation card did not match the sim card installed in my phone. I keep receiving sim card not valid. Straight talk is sending me a new sim card but that will take 3-5 business days. This is my only phone. Is there any way this can be remedied sooner?
