Chanaging to new number

Chanaging to new number

Postby Jere » Mon Jan 30, 2012 12:09 pm

My son moved into an area that does not support android service and has given me his android phone. My service with another company expires next month and I would like to reactivate his old phone with my current number. Can this be done? In other words change the number in his phone to my current cell phone number. His phone is currently not active.

Hi Jere. My name is Straight Talk Stephanie and I will be addressing your question. Yes, that can be done but the process will take 7-10 business days since you are porting a number from a different provider. You will just need to purchase a Service card to start the process. Thank you!

I have purchased a new android phone, I am ready to activate this phone and wish to keep my sprint number. Can you guide me through the steps I need to follow. We have just notified sprint to discontinue service.
