Is it possible to use and Android phone with ATT coverage with the BYOP SIM card? I am strongly considering getting an HTC Inspire to use on Straight Talk. I already use Straight Talk but my phone is crappy. The Straight Talk Androids are supposed to use Sprint towers which has crappy service in areas that I frequent. I'd like to use an ATT SIM, due to it getting good service in areas that I frequent.

So, Is it possible to use and Android phone with ATT coverage with the BYOP SIM card? And, will data work if it is on ATT towers?

Hi e.to.the.e. My name is StraightTalk Stephanie and I will be addressing your question. As long as it is an AT&T, T-Mobile compatible GSM phone or an unlocked domestic GSM phone, it will work with the BYOP (Bring Your Own Phone) Program. To view the program, please visit www.straighttalkSIM.com. Thanks!

Hi bambam806. My name is Straight Talk Sophie. You need to activate the new SIM card once you receive it. Please make sure to update the APN Settings of the phone for the MMS feature to work. Thank you.

Sheila, any AT&T or T-Mobile compatible phones and any unlocked domestic GSM phone will work with the BYOP program. This program will not work with Blackberry phones and CDMA phones. Please visit www. straighttalkSIM.com for more details. Thanks.
