Walmart will not refund unused service card

My son had a straight talk phone and bought a $30.00 service card. Before he could use it, I added him to my AT&T plan. I called Straight Talk, and they will not issue refunds. From what I'm seeing on here, Walmart will not refund the card either. How do we get our money back for this card that was never activated? Thanks!
