Windows to ANdroid

SO i bought an unlock phone with windows however i have to use multimedia messages for work and windows phone doesn't support me editing apn to allow mms messages. So Since i already have the plan & the sim card which uses the AT&T network... Would i be able to use the sim card on Android phones or att doesn't support android phones running on their network? Help pliz need to know ASAP...
