For almost a week now my phone will not receive text messages. I can send them. There is no error messages coming up. People receive them but I can not receive answers. People are not getting errors when they text me there is simply no message.

I have called in several times which is troublesome in itself because I do not have an alternate phone.

So far we have:

1.called the #2 whatever number to reset the phone
2. Sent a text to myself which had no error and never came through.
3. Removed the battery and hard restarted the phone.
4. Removed the sim card and hard restarted the phone
5. Reset the entire phone with me losing half my contacts

I need another answer as to why this is happening and what we can do to fix this as soon as possible.

i am having the same problem with my lgl86c. have done everything but a complete phone reset. The phone chooses when it wants to receive text messages from certain people.

I started having this problem now too! My phone's last text received was May 9th!
I have an LG l9 optiumus with an att sim card.

I am having the same problem as these people are having with their LGL86C phones. This started happening around the beginning of this month. The last message that got through was on May 4th. I purchased a cell phone solely to be able to receive texts from a family member who can not always call as the person he lives with will hear him. Being able to receive texts from him is overwhelmingly important. I need this fixed.

I am having the same problem with my LGL86C. I have not received any text messages since May 4th.
I have tried to post 2 previous times already and do not see my posts at all. I apologize in advance, to everyone in this forum, if they show up later. I am afraid they are not getting thru and I need to be heard so I can get help. It is urgent that I have the ability to receive texts. Please help.
