mobile network unavailable

I have a samsung galaxy and I can not make calls send texts nor recieve phone will not even allow me to call *22890 please help

I have had the same issue for a couple of days now where my phone "has no service" or "searching for netwok connection".... I am pretty upset actually because I am in college for Computer-Science, and my "smart"phone is my life-line! Is Straight Talk going to consider anyone that has had this inconvieniance (or nightmare in my case) being treated as if us millions of customers would be by a normal carrier?!? I need help so bad! And I shouldnt! I know it is not anyone here that had this happen to all of us, and I sincerely apologize if I come off as "pointing the finger at you"... I just told myself that IF I EVER RECEIVED proper assisstance FINALLY, I would say what so many other want to so desperately. That said, how does this happen? Or what can I do to fix it? Anyone, PLEASE help me!

I have had this problem today. It seems like a pretty common problem so why doesn't customer service seem to have any clue as to how to fix it.

Same problem. Sounds like many people have had it. Why isn't it easier to fix?

I replied and still have not gotten any help. I want to know what the problem is and why it is taking so long to get it fixed. I was expecting some rather important phone calls and my cell is my primary contact number. I am getting very frustrated with this whole ordeal. I don't understand what the issue is. I have never heard of anything quite like this happening with other carriers. I've had to wipe out all of my apps and contacts and I've spent a lot of time trying to get a resolution to this problem. Has anyone else who has had this problem gotten it resolved?
