Motorola DROID RAZR Maxx on StraightTalk?

I have my eyes on the Motorola DROID RAZR Maxx, but I find Verizon's asking price for monthly LIMITED data, voice, and text to be absurd.

So - if I were to purchase the phone itself, with no contract from Verizon, would I be able to make use of it via the Straight Talk SIM program? Would I need to have it 'unlocked' first, and is there a reliable way to unlock the phone? Most websites I have found concerning DRM unlock codes seem sketchy at best - and badly written.

The DRM uses the Verizon CDMA800, CDMA1900, and LTE B13 700 networks, and has no GSM antenna. It does have an accessible SIM card.

Hi ronin_salsolo. My name is Straight Talk Debbie and I will be addressing your question. The CDMA phones are not compatible with our Straight Talk SIM program. Only GSM unlocked phones will work. I believe this answers your question. It’s been a pleasure helping you. Have a good day.

I have Straight Talk as my carrier. I now have a Motorola DROID RAZR M. According to Verizon, all their LTE are not locked. However, using my Straight Talk sim card, I am not able to use the RAZR. I am able to user my Straight Talk sim card with my sons Verizon Lg g2 with no problem. Both the Verizon Lg and RAZR are LTE phones.
