Moto X 2015

Moto X 2015

Postby martyk88 » Thu Sep 03, 2015 1:53 am

I am thinking about buying the new 2015 Moto X Pure Edition. It comes unlocked. The area I live at Straight Talk uses the Verizon network. There is no way for me to know the MEID number before buying the phone so I can't check it on the BYOP website ahead of time. I need to know if this phone will work on Straight Talk ????

me too! I contacted straight talk and all they say is "they have no way knowing until you put in the numbers to see if it is compatible". but according to the specs of moto x pure edition it is compatible...what to do what to do ;)

I went to live chat and it was like they didn't understand what I was talking about. They wanted to know who the old carrier was .... I said its a new phone, It just came out a few days ago. Its comes unlocked. They were clueless.

I contacted Motorola and they reassure this phone will work, all we need to do is buy a sims card for Verizon network on straight talk. as this phone does not come with a sims card.

I've also ordered a Moto 2015 and am a current ST customer. The phone will arrive on Sept 16, and I would like to know for sure that it will work on Walmart gsm or cdma networks in 88061. I see others are being asked to contact an agent privately, and I would like to do that as well so I can be assured the phone will work and be properly prepared for the cutover to the new phone.
Thanks!
