Actually I'm curious about this also. Is there a discount for adding a line? I have an iPhone and a blackberry storm I'd like to use. Do you support these phones? They previously were used on the Verizon network. CDMA I believe. 3G.
Also I'm looking to change carriers from Verizon for my home wifi network. I'm using a Mifi 2200 but the rate thru Verizon is quite high at $59.99/mo for unlimited data for up to five computers and I'd love to find a better rate elsewhere.
1) do you offer wifi packages this way? Cost/data amount?
2) do you sell the wireless modems? If not, what are the requirements for use on your network?
3) do you have decent coverage in the northern Michigan/traverse city area?
4)do you offer discounts for additional lines?
5) would my Storm or IPhone work with Straight Talk?
Thank you kindly,
M

Hi Moledady. My name is StraightTalk Stephanie and I will be addressing your question. Please be informed that BYOP program only support GSM technology. Please check the below answers to your oultined questions:
1.) You can use WiFi if your phone is capable of doing that free of charge.
2.) We do not sell wireless modems. The phone can be tethered to your computer to transfer data from the phone to computer or computer to phone but cannot be used as a modem to obtain an internet connection, that violates the terms of service”.
3.) BYOP supports T-Mobile and At&T services only. If you have coverage in your area with this networks, your phone will work.
4) We do not offer discounts for additional lines.
5) Only AT&T, T-Mobile compatible GSM phone or an unlocked domestic GSM phone will work with the BYOP (Bring Your Own Phone) Program. To view program, please visit

Thank you!

I just got a second ST phone. I would like to add it to my current account. From the web site I can not find a way to this, or am I blind... Yes, I also need to know this, as well as the fact that I lost my phone and tried to put an old phone of my wife's (also straight talk) to my account and transfer my number and I see no way to do any of this. I went ahead and canceled my lost phone off my account in the hopes of getting my wife's old phone on to my account, but it will not let me because it is still attached to her account and she has never logged in online to manage it and we cannot even get to manage her account online to cancel her phone off of her account. I have my service card ready to go and it is important that I keep my phone number because it is on business cards, my business website and everything. I am now looking at being required to go to a contract service that can help me keep my service and my registered phone number.

hey straight talk folks,
can you post an answer to this that everyone can see?
It is a little frustrating to engage in a new dialog privately for each instance/question/problem. It would be a more information friendly environment to share problem resolutions.
