Giving My Phone To My Brother

I was using an LG620G Phone and recently ported my number to Virgin Mobile. My brother now wants to activate this phone using Straight Talk. Will he have to buy or get a new SIM prior to being able to accomplish this. The phone now shows Unregistered Sim. If so, how do we order or pay for the SIM in advance. Thank You.

Hi California Jim. My name is Straight Talk Stephanie and I will be addressing your question. Your brother will need to purchase a service card to reactivate the phone. Kindly call the Customer Service Hotline 1-877-430-2355. We are open from Mondays-Sundays from 8:00AM-11:45PM EST. You can also visit the website @www.straighttalkwireless.com to reactivate the phone. If the system will prompt to send a replacement sim card, we will send you the card free of charge.
