Cant refill minutes

I purchased a $35 refill card and accidentally scraped away the first 3 digits of the service pin. I need assistance in retrieving my pin so I can activate service.
My phone number has been inactive for over a month so I was also wondering if I can keep my current phone number or will I have to change numbers? Thank you help is appreciated
