I ordered two phones and two service plans on friday. I was billed once friday and a second time but $.02 more the next day on friday.
I spent hours on the phone with straight talk today and got nowhere. first they had no history of my order, ever charging my debit card or my emil. although I was lookign at a confirmation email from them in my email act.
finally after another hour long call I got a manager and they found my act but will not admit to two charges. they say one order number, one charge. my bank says it is definatly two charges. The manager cant comprehend this though and says it might be just a hold which should drop off in a month or two. meanwhile they are causing me overdrafts, this was no small amount. I am NOT happy and will never do any business again with a card number. your customer service is horible, if it's not on a script they cant understand.
so I guess my only recourse is to wait a week and file a fraud claim with my bank since straight talk refuses to admit they double charged me and apparantly a thousand other people according my my internet searches for "straight talk double billing"
