"Cannot Authenticate Phone" message

About an hour ago, I removed a previous phone from my account. The phone was inactive. Now
, the phone I currently use will not work, even though it has airtime on it. I cannot access the internet, or send text messages. Everytime I attempt to make a call, I recieve a message immediately saying "Welcome to Verizon Wireless. We're sorry. We're currently unable to authenticate your phone. Please hang up and try your call again." I have tried this about 7 times with no success. At the end of the message, it says if you continue having problems to dial #8899 on your phone, which I have done. Everytime I do that, I get the same message again. How can I fix this?

Every time I shut down my phone it loses its Sprint service and I have to call tech support, get a supervisor n they can fix it. However every time I run outta power or shut muy phone off, it loses connection to Verizon again. This is the third time..:-(

I've just received the same message can't call any thing. Tried to power down and call for programming. Can someone help on this.

I'm having a similar problem. The internet still works, but I can't send or receive texts or phone calls, and every time I call out it askes me to dial #8899. How can I fix this?
