I'm having the internal storage problem with the ZTE Merit. I purchased the phone in Dec, 2012. What is the solution?

Does anybody have an answer to the "low internal storage" problem with the ZTE Merit? I like the phone and I don't want to return it to Walmart. I see some moderators have an answer but have taken the discussion off-line. Can anyone help? Thanks

I got the zte merit st phone for Christmas. I'm about to throw it in the river since I can't through it through the phone or at an employee. Yes, I have the same problem. Low storage. I haven't downloaded any apps, I have to clear my cache after every website I visit, cant keep more than 20 texts, etc. UGH.
I feel that Straight Talk was not straight up on advertising this phone. It said you have access to over 450, 000 apps to download. REALLY? I put a 16 gb sd card in there which is bigger than my desktop computer and the phone is useless if you can't enjoy it's ammenities. I just feel even though I like the phone and wanted an android. I feel cheated I guess. If I don't get a fix soon. It goes back to WM and I'll go to different company.
Also, with so many people having problems, why take everyone off to a private message? Just tell us how to fix it here so everyone can benefit from it?

If anyone can help I'd appreciate it. Thanks

Just bought a straight talk phone and we keep getting a message that my internal phone storage is running low. When I check the storage of the SD card under settings, it says "unavailable". Very few apps have been downloaded. I've seen several posts about this but no posted resolutions. The SD card is the one that came with the phone and is 4GB. Is there a way to fix this problem or is my only choice to return the phone/
